Well, it was gonna end somewhere.
The tour has been so well received and, for all the work and travel, it's been a lot of fun.
We lucked out and got a great crowd in Preston.
Obviously, the pressure was on to make it a fantastic show, as it was i the last one of the run.
The audience we had took all that pressure off as soon as we hit the stage.
They were into it, we were almost too into, altho, thinking again, there is no such thing as 'too into it', when it comes to what we do.
The evening just did what it was supposed to do for everyone concerned.
The queue afterwards was very long and very friendly.
All in all, a fitting close to an excellent tour.
I might be back with some overall thoughts about the activities of last few months.
But, oh, not right now.
Nice to be home.
It will take me a few days to realize I don't have to pack and leave.
As a matter of fact, I will also eventually work out that I can reel it in and wind it down and keep it there for a while.
There is no OFF switch while the tour is in progress.
Even on off days.
Gonna have a cup of tea now and contemplate throwing that switch.
Probably won't hit it immediately, but, certainly, sooner than later. ~ __________________
