I know I said I wasn't gonna pay too much attention to the charts but I have to admit that I'm pretty pleased with the results of today's TV appearance.
When we got in the car to head home after BBC Breakfast, the album was still hanging in at #13.
By the time I got home it was #4 in the Amazon Top 100 Best Sellers, #2 in Amazon Rock albums, #18 on ITunes across all genres chart and #3 on ITunes Rock chart.
That's f8cking fantastic!!!
The power of television, huh?
A five and a half minute chat and a thirty three second medley of a few lines from three different Hook tunes and, damn, if people didn't respond.
Now, I'm not saying that I single-handedly caused that result, but it sure didn't hurt and I'm happy to know my presence is effective.
The Amazon Rock chart number has an arrow next to it^which usually means they expect it to rise.
There's only one place it can go.
Wouldn't that be a kick?
Anyway, tomorrow I'll probably be pissed off and grumbling because some assh*le said or did (or didn't do) something, but, for today, YIP-friggin-EEE! ~
